Recent Feature Releases
We have recently rolled out the ability to include a bond in the Shopify order. A bond will allow you to add an additional product to the cart that has a set fee. Depending on your store's policy, you can refund the bond after the booking ends. The bond feature is available for Premium and up app subscribers, and you must use a booking widget to take advantage of this feature. Click here for more info.
BTA now allows you to take deposits! A deposit will allow you to charge a set fee, or percentage, of the product cost during the order process. You can then collect the remaining amount at the time of the booking. Cancel and Reschedule Bookings via Email
BookThatApp now supports the ability to allow your customers to cancel or reschedule their bookings via email. Update to Resources
We recently rolled out an update for resources allowing the app to accommodate another booking scenario. You can now associate a resource with a booking while still allowing the capacity to be based on the product or variant. The most common example is the scenario of having a teacher where the class is comprised of attendees from multiple bookings. Another common example is a tour guide that conducts several different types of tours for attendees from multiple bookings. Update to the Notification Email
We recently made an update to the notification email. Previously, the notification email was only available when using the stand alone booking form. We had a lot of feedback requesting that this email be available under other booking scenarios. As part of our continuous development of BookThatApp, we have updated the notification email to apply under all booking scenarios. Now you decide when the app will send the notification email.
