A Hong Kong-based dress rental customer was interested in expanding their business from a traditional wedding dress store to include designer dress hire. They needed a product booking solution that would allow them to rent out designer dresses as well as an appointment booking solution to book wedding dress consultations, personal shopping appointments, and try-on appointments in-store.
The solution involved adding two unique booking forms to the shop to accommodate the different applications. For the dress rental application, we installed the rental widget that automatically calculated the booking period based on the rental duration selected. The merchant appreciated the advanced booking logic that let them set sizes and colors for each dress and show individual dress availability based on the combination of size and color selected.
For the in-store appointments, we installed the appointment widget. This lets the merchant set up specific hours for the appointments, as well as assign unique staff members depending on the type of appointment selected. In this case, the shop had specific staff who did wedding consultations and other staff that only did general try-on appointments.
Adding Book That App to their online store allowed them to grow their revenue by adding a hire option and freed up staff time by moving appointments online.
